Literary translation
Literary translation is closer to creative writing than to translation in the strict sense. As for any creative work, it requires the translator to possess great imagination, an impeccable style and a very broad general and literary culture. Literary translation is a complex exercise, since it is not enough to simply translate the words, whether prose or verse: it must also convey the feelings, emotions and atmosphere of the original work, while respecting the style and rhythm specific to each author. When we are asked to translate a literary work, we propose several translators to the author or publisher, enabling them to choose the one who best corresponds to the editorial and artistic line of the work. We also guarantee close collaboration between author and translator throughout the duration of the project.
